This shifter is a direct replacement for the stock shifter in your 6 speed 2012-present Chevy Sonic. Our shifter reduces the throw 30% along with improving shifter feel over the stock unit. Comes with removable shift knob. We highly recommend doing our Sonic Shifter Bushings and the Shifter Cable Clamp at the same time for a massive improvement in shifting feel.
